Why is Tomorrow’s Drivers Different?
Peace of Mind Guarantee
We are the only driving school that will offer this. We strongly believe in our training to the point we will give the student a full course refund, if they have an at fault collision with in six months of completing the course. Our training goes beyond the road test. We have developed a program that builds new drivers confidence. Once the new driver is confident understanding the right of way concepts, and how to become a defensively aware driver becomes second nature. We have a track record for 10 years. Majority of our students successfully pass both their road test G2 and G.
Well Designed and Effective Program
Integrated Program of In-Class and In-Car
At Tomorrow’s Drivers we ensure continuity between the theoretical concepts of the classroom into the practical portion of the in vehicle training. What our students learn in the classroom is what they practice in the car. Our in-class instructors and in-car instructors share their experiences, so there is no confusion in the training. Our instructors teach skills like freeway/highway, head-on collision avoidance, adverse conditions, and pro-active driving habits. The Tomorrow’s Drivers instructors demonstrate these life-saving techniques, so all our students have an opportunity to practice these skills.
Flexible Classroom and In-Car lessons
We realize students have very busy schedules. The ministry allows you to complete the course in one year. Some students can’t make all the days in consecutive order. So our course is designed so you can make up days in the following sessions. In regards to in-car lessons our instructors work 7 days a week and up to 12 hours. All instructors work around their students schedules. We pick up and drop off at home, school, work. As long as its within the area students live.
Highway/Free Way Driving
Under Graduated Licensing regulations a novice driver can only drive on the highway and freeway when accompanied by a licensed instructor. All Tomorrow’s Drivers students are taught the correct way to merge and exit these busy roadways.
We Train Students To Drive By Themselves
Every Tomorrow’s Drivers student must pass in-class tests and in-car evaluations to make certain they are ready to drive on their own. In the car students will be evaluated on their defensive driving skills. Also with the Tomorrow’s Drivers simulated road test, we help our students get ready for the real thing thus increasing their chances of passing their road test the first time.
Price Is Right
Unfortunately, most people rush to the cheapest school. But they fail to realize they actually end up paying more. Almost 20% of our students come from these schools after having failed their road test, with this number growing every year.
These students have paid nearly $300-$400 for taking the driving course with them and are now required to pay more because their training was not sufficient. Last year we decided to do a survey with students who went to a cheaper driving school before they joined Tomorrow’s Drivers.
Here’s what we found. The most common complaint is that they did not learn the necessary skills required to a) pass their road test, and b) be confident enough to drive on their own. We found that other schools are running “stadium-sized classrooms” of up to 60-70 students in one classroom per instructor. This exceeds the recommended number by the Ministry of 20:1 student teacher ratio. Here at Tomorrow’s Drivers, we only allow up to 24 students per in-class instructor, which allows for personalized training. Another interesting thing we learned was that the other schools are allowing multiple students in the car per lesson and even on their actual road test. Parents and students should ask the right questions before committing to these schools.
So you have to ask yourself, if these schools are charging $300-$400, how are they able to get the students the complete 40 hours of training. Either the instructors are being underpaid, which would directly impact the quality of training the students receive, or the students are being told that they are not required to complete the in-class training. There could be other possibilities as well, but were sure you get the point.
