Lee Chang-dong follows a grandmother beginning a poetry class while facing both memory loss and her grandson's involvement in an appalling act. Yoon Jeong-hee makes attention to everyday beauty feel increasingly difficult and necessary. Its refusal of easy consolation gives it unusual depth.
