David William Grainger

David William Grainger (1927-2025) was an American businessman who led the industrial supply and distribution company W.W. Grainger, which was founded by his father, William Wallace Grainger. He joined the business in 1952, later serving as chairman and chief executive and overseeing major expansions during the 1980s and 1990s. He also led the Grainger Foundation.
