Princess Mononoke (1997)
Movie
Released
The conflict between a threatened forest and an industrious human settlement refuses to stay comfortably simple. Its creatures and landscapes are spectacular, but the difficult loyalties give them weight. Watch it for an animated adventure that allows environmental concern, human need and violence to exist in the same complicated world.
