Men of a Certain Age (2009)

Three friends approach fifty with stalled hopes, ordinary jobs and habits that have become harder to excuse. Ray Romano, Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula give the low-key conversations an ease that makes disappointment feel specific. Its appeal lies in men acknowledging fear without every scene becoming either a motivational speech or a joke about lost youth.
