Fleishman Is in Trouble (2022)

A separated doctor's apparent new freedom becomes a much less comfortable story about who gets to describe a marriage. The shifting perspective is its strength: midlife disappointment looks different when somebody else is finally heard. It is more anxious and emotionally punishing than a dating comedy, with serious attention to breakdown and lost identity.
