Detectorists (2014)

Fields, modest hopes and two friends who do not need to fill every silence. The metal-detecting club gives the comedy enough rivalry to stay lively, but the prevailing feeling is affection for people trying to make an ordinary day worthwhile. A particularly good choice when you want the volume of life turned down without the characters becoming bland.
