Only Murders in the Building (2021)

Charles and Oliver's need to matter is as entertaining as the apartment-block mysteries they investigate with Mabel. Steve Martin and Martin Short are not nostalgic guest attractions: their histories and extravagant flaws keep moving the story. The intergenerational partnership is a lively alternative to shows that isolate older characters from everybody younger.
