A close community produces many confident interpretations of a child's death, and confidence is not the same thing as evidence. The first series is particularly rewarding when watched with somebody whose suspicions differ from yours. Pay attention to how information changes after it becomes public. The emotional intensity is substantial, so this is a painful community drama as well as a case to solve.
