Girls5eva (2021)

Gloria's lesbian life is woven into a girl group's belated attempt at another shot at pop success. The dense jokes find room for careers, bodies and relationships changing after the original youthful image has stopped fitting. It is a buoyant choice when you want queer women joining the absurd work of making something together, not merely supplying the sensible friend.
