Blown Away (2019)

Glass forces a design to coexist with heat, gravity and a rapidly closing window of time. Seeing a form emerge makes the finished sculpture more comprehensible than a reveal alone could. The episodes move quickly and cannot teach the complete technique, but they make material control and creative ambition unusually easy to see working against one another.
