The West Wing (1999)

The administration becomes familiar through ordinary staff negotiations as well as major political decisions. Its idealism can be narrow and the middle years become uneven, but the later election storyline gives the long run renewed energy. Choose it if you enjoy fast dialogue and institutional relationships, while accepting that its imagined politics is aspirational drama rather than a dependable model.
