Maid (2021)

A mother trying to support her child discovers how much time and energy poverty can consume before any apparent progress appears. Cleaning work, housing and family obligations make the obstacles concrete. The longer limited run needs a substantial part of the weekend. It is emotionally taxing, particularly around abuse, but the carefully followed small decisions give its hope something to stand on.
