Bad Sisters (2022)

A darkly comic investigation sits inside the fierce, imperfect loyalty of five Irish sisters. The thriller question gives the conversations forward pressure, while the relationships make apparently foolish decisions intelligible. Coercive control and abuse are central, so this is a compromise for a serious evening rather than an automatically cosy comedy.
