Red Dwarf (1988)

A technician and his former bunkmate carry petty workplace status into the most absurd possible isolation. The mining-ship setting gives even cosmic nonsense the flavour of colleagues stuck on an extended bad shift. Effects and humour vary by era, but the small grudges remain wonderfully recognisable.
