The Lunchbox (2013)

Lunch deliveries and a correspondence make Mumbai's routines into a delicate structure for intimacy. Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur sustain the attraction through pauses and hesitation. The film earns its emotional weight by taking ordinary habits seriously rather than forcing them towards a neat romantic answer.
