Rain Dogs (2023)

Costello's need for somewhere to live makes her friendship with the wealthy Selby dangerously unequal. Daisy May Cooper gives the aspiring writer stubborn talent and a difficult personality, rather than making her a spotless deserving-poor figure. Housing insecurity changes what a person can safely refuse, and the drama never lets the friendship float free of that fact.
