Daddy Issues (2024)

Pregnant Gemma ends up sharing a home with her newly single father, whose practical skills leave plenty to be desired. Aimee Lou Wood and David Morrissey make the arrangement funny without giving either character limitless options. The Stockport setting and awkward dependence matter: starting again is harder when there is no spare property or paid support waiting off screen.
