Rev. (2010)

An inner-city vicar faces obligations that do not become easier simply because everybody expects him to be kind. Tom Hollander's performance gives professional inadequacy, faith and irritation room in the same person. The comedy grows from difficult encounters rather than treating religious belief as an automatic punchline. A good choice for an ensemble with emotional life beyond the week's problem.
