Chewing Gum (2015)

Tracey's curiosity about sex crashes into a religious upbringing and a formidable capacity for embarrassment. Michaela Coel's physical comedy gives the estate setting a wonderfully unruly energy. The pleasure is being allowed a young Black woman who is awkward, horny, imaginative and frequently wrong, with no obligation to behave like a representative success story.
