Supacell (2024)

Rapman gives five ordinary South Londoners powers that interrupt lives already complicated by work, relationships and money. That local social world makes the superhero premise feel different before the larger mystery arrives. Pick it for the friction between familiar urban obligations and an extraordinary ability, with action that keeps returning to what the characters have to lose.
