Abbott Elementary (2021)

Teaching depends on classrooms, supplies, parents, policy and colleagues whose methods differ. Those conditions produce stories instead of disappearing whenever the staff want to talk about their own lives. The mockumentary is warm and heightened, but the teachers' practical need to get through the day gives their disagreements a recognisable purpose.
