Over the Garden Wall (2014)

Two brothers wander through a forest full of autumnal stories that seem familiar and slightly wrong. The short animated series earns its eeriness through songs, shadows and uncertainty. Some imagery is genuinely disturbing, but the fear comes from fairy-tale suggestion rather than realistic bodily injury.
