Hilda (2018)

A curious girl's encounters with folklore creatures make the ordinary landscape feel full of hidden lives. The animation has real shadows and peril, but its curiosity usually outweighs hostility. Choose it for a gentle, visually rich route into the uncanny, with some stronger images as the adventures develop.
