Angoor (1982)

Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma sustain distinct comic rhythms while the lookalike complications multiply. Gulzar keeps the farce clear enough for each new misunderstanding to remain funny. It is worth choosing for exact performance and timing rather than a premise that can be explained in one line.
