Fresh Off the Boat (2015)

The 2015 sitcom follows the Huangs in 1990s Florida, with parents and children adapting to their surroundings at different speeds. The restaurant, school and relatives all complicate a single account of fitting in. Its strongest family comedy comes from specific competing priorities. Choose it for a household whose cultural disagreements do not prevent anybody from having other ambitions or comic faults.
