Speechless (2016)

JJ's communication needs and the family's approach to access affect ordinary school and household decisions. The sitcom gives him humour, desire and sibling friction, alongside a mother whose determination can become overbearing. Choose it for a family whose members all have agendas. Disability is part of the daily organisation of care rather than the only fact allowed to define the eldest child.
