BLUE EYE SAMURAI (2023)

A revenge journey makes gesture, composition and bursts of movement carry as much force as dialogue. The period world is visually striking without being a substitute for the lead's conflicted desires. Sexual material and graphic violence are substantial, with the harshness tied to a story of exclusion and self-definition.
