The Owl House (2020)

A human girl finds a strange magical household whose warmth has to survive mistakes and outside pressure. The visual oddities and quick humour offer an easy way in. Later danger and themes of control make it more demanding than its opening suggests, while the friendships provide a strong reason to stay together.
