The Affair (2014)

An encounter returns through different participants' memories, changing details that initially seemed objective. Clothes, tone and apparent intention can shift with the person doing the remembering. Choose it for the cumulative uncertainty of competing accounts, rather than a single hidden answer waiting to be announced. The format is most interesting when a contradiction reveals a need or a wound.
