The Office (2001)

The 2001 UK original makes David Brent's awareness of the camera part of his management failure. A colleague's refusal to smile can contradict a whole speech about the office culture. Choose it for precisely observed attempts to control how a situation will look. Its severe cringe is different from the more forgiving ensemble company offered by many later workplace mockumentaries.
