Gentefied (2020)

The cousins' ideas for saving their grandfather's taco shop raise different questions about customers, identity and who a changing neighbourhood serves. A menu or a business plan can feel like a statement of loyalty. The comic drama keeps the shop connected to rent and working lives. A good smaller-scale choice, with its cancelled run leaving some future possibilities unresolved.
