Ramy wants spiritual seriousness but repeatedly finds ways to make other people pay for his self-discovery. His Muslim faith is a lived commitment, not simply a rule book he needs to escape. The family and community offer perspectives he does not control. Choose it for uncomfortable comedy about intention, practice and the temptation to mistake wanting to improve for actually changing.
