Love Life (2020)

The anthology changes protagonists between its two seasons. The second, following Marcus after a marriage breaks down, is the stronger fit for adult uncertainty: dating is tangled with work, friendship and his sense of himself. William Jackson Harper gives self-scrutiny a persuasive comic awkwardness. Choose that season for growth across several relationships rather than one supposedly perfect person arriving to fix everything.
