Samurai Jack (2001)

Large areas of colour and carefully placed figures let a distant shape become the whole point of a scene. Action often depends on waiting before a precise movement. The wandering adventure sustains that formal range, while the later concluding season is much darker and more explicitly violent than the earlier episodes.
