Daisy Jones & the Six (2023)

Songwriting and recording let competing feelings become choices about a lyric, a harmony or who should lead. The retrospective interviews add another struggle over who gets to explain the band's work. Choose it for a polished musical melodrama with tangible collaborative moments. The personal mythology is part of the pleasure, rather than a reliable template for how every band operates.
