Baron Noir (2016)

Philippe Rickwaert's survival in Baron Noir depends on relationships connecting local power with France's national party machinery. A favour can be both an immediate solution and an obligation waiting to be collected. The combative energy suits a viewer interested in political operators who know an institution intimately because they are so compromised by their place inside it.
