The Diplomat (2023)

Crisis management becomes an unstable mixture of competing briefs, staff loyalties and an ambitious husband's interventions in The Diplomat. The American lead's London posting gives official statements a particularly fraught relationship with private judgement. This is a fast, deliberately heightened thriller, rewarding when you enjoy colleagues arguing about what must happen before anybody can safely say what happened.
