Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams (2017)

Each episode adapts a different short-story idea into a new world, keeping questions of identity, perception and desire close to the speculative machinery. It has no continuing hero to catch up with. The results vary, but an unsatisfying choice need not define the next hour. A useful pick when you want science fiction more reflective than a long mythology.
