The Twilight Zone (1959)

The 1959 original can turn an ordinary conversation into a speculative moral trap within a single episode. New characters let the series pursue an idea to its consequence and move on. The acting and social assumptions can be dated, but the clean dramatic setups remain inviting. A good starting point for the anthology habit, rather than homework about influence.
