The Investigation (2020)

Denmark, mainly in Danish. This restrained dramatisation of the Kim Wall murder investigation concentrates on police, divers, scientists and the work of establishing a prosecutable case. It avoids making the perpetrator the spectacle. The painstaking approach is its value, although the real killing behind the procedural detail makes this a particularly sombre choice.
