Seinfeld (1989)

Four friends turn a minor inconvenience into a moral emergency, then make it worse by insisting they are reasonable. The tightly crossing plots are the attraction, especially once the early episodes settle into their rhythm. Some jokes and assumptions have aged badly. The 1989 original still rewards attention to the construction of a completely avoidable disaster.
