Succession (2018)

The dialogue's cruelty and the performances make the Roy family's struggle for control easy to admire. My difficulty is the company: another beautifully delivered humiliation can feel like more time in the same poisonous room. If shifts of leverage and comic self-delusion fascinate you, that repetition may be the point. I want a little more emotional air between the blows.
