Firefly (2002)

The 2002 crew's jobs work because somebody has to repair the ship and everybody has a different idea of an acceptable risk. Their argumentative familiarity is already a pleasure, not merely potential. The live-action series lasted one season; Serenity later continues the story. An animated revival is in development, rather than an available second live-action season. Some frontier politics and jokes have aged poorly.
