Andréa McBride

Andréa co-founded McBride Sisters Wine Company with Robin, beginning with New Zealand wine imports in 2005 before the pair produced their own wines. Her connections with winemaking neighbours in New Zealand helped open that first route into the trade. Alongside her later leadership as chief executive, this is a useful example of turning local knowledge into a business with an overseas market, rather than beginning with an inherited estate.
