Frank Carney

Frank joined Dan in opening Pizza Hut while still a student and went on to serve as the growing chain's president. He stayed after the 1977 sale to PepsiCo, leaving in 1980. His path makes the distinction between helping open a restaurant and managing a franchise business tangible. The shared family start did not mean the brothers' later responsibilities or careers remained identical.
