John Collison

John is Stripe's co-founder and president, a distinct leadership role beside Patrick's chief executive position. The brothers had already worked together on Auctomatic before starting the payments company. That earlier collaboration matters more than a story about instant sibling intuition: they brought experience of building and selling a software business into another venture, which also needed investors and a much larger team.
