Funny Bones (1995) is the best starting point for Evans's combination of nervous energy, mime and sudden physical invention. His Jack seems to find comic possibilities before he can explain them. Mousehunt (1997) offers a broader, effects-heavy showcase, but Funny Bones leaves more room to notice how an expressive face and restless body work together.
