For Life (2020)

Aaron Wallace works as a lawyer while imprisoned, making his own fight for freedom inseparable from representing other people inside. The American drama has an inspirational, sometimes simplified structure, yet the clients' dependence on access and persistence gives the legal work concrete stakes. A useful contrast to shows where a prestigious address and unlimited staff seem to come with the lead character.
