Victim Number 8 (2018)

An attack in Bilbao sets police, families and public narratives moving in different directions. The Spanish-Basque production gains tension from the speed with which an explanation can harden around somebody. It is an involving conspiracy thriller for viewers interested in manipulation as well as pursuit, with the heightened plot requiring some willingness to follow its reversals.
